How to put a condom correctly ?

The condom is both a method of contraception and the only way to prevent sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Well used, it is effective in 98% of cases. Unfortunately, poorly put on, the condom is 15% ineffective and becomes dangerous, because people are no longer suspicious, thinking they are protected.

In this video, we explain how to choose and correctly put on a condom to avoid accidents.

In local shops or in a pharmacy, it is important to choose a condom of good quality, NF certified, meaning French Standard, a label guaranteeing compliance with official French standards. The French authorities recommend being vigilant on so-called “fancy” products which are distributed or sold individually.

Tear the packaging carefully, so as not to damage the condom, and always check its condition: are there any deformations? Has the expiration date passed?

If the condom is correct, it must be held by squeezing the reservoir and then gently place it on the glans and unroll it along the erect penis.

If the condom cracks, go to the hospital immediately!

The condom is a method of contraception and protection against sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

If you want to learn about sexually transmitted risks, there are many videos available on STIs (sexually transmitted infections) and STDs (sexually transmitted diseases):
